Criteria for Working Visa

Every working visa of Australia has its requirements but here are some general requirements you need to meet to apply for the visa.

• Completing a medical exam
• Meeting character requirements
• Demonstrating competent English
• Having required years of relevant work experience
• Being required years of age
• Reading or having been explained the Life in Australia booklet
• Signing the Australian Values Statement

Requirement for Work Permit

There are specific requirements you need to meet depending on where you are when you apply for your work permit.

• You need to prove to an officer that you will leave Canada when your work permit expires;
• You must show that you have enough money to take care of yourself and your family members during your stay in Canada and to return home;
• You must obey the law and have no record of criminal activity (we may ask you to give us a police clearance certificate);
• You should not be a danger to Canada’s security;
• You should be in good health and have a medical exam if needed;
• not plan to work for an employer listed with the status “ineligible” on the list of employers who failed to comply with the conditions;
• not plan to work for an employer who, regularly, offers striptease, erotic dance, escort services, or erotic massages.
• You need to give the officer any other documents they ask for to prove you can enter the country

Documents Required

Here is the list of documents you need to make ready for applying:

• Current passport and travel history
• Meet the required language levels
• Must have spent at least 2 out of the past 5 years in your trade
• Your trade must fall under the National Occupational Classification list
• While there is no educational requirement having a Canadian education or equivalent foreign credential can improve your Express Entry ranking
• Police clearance certificate
• Other supporting documents
